568 Main Street, Hudson, MA
Housed in a 65,000+ square foot building located at the Collings Foundation's headquarters on the Hudson–Stow town line, the American Heritage Museum maintains a historically important collection of military artifacts, tanks and armored vehicles donated by the family of Jacques M. Littlefield in 2013. Included in the collection are over fifteen tanks and artifacts, the only ones on public display in North America.
With a mission to engage, educate, entertain, and enlighten its audiences in the history of America's military and veterans, the American Heritage Museum maintains a chronologically arranged series of exhibits and offers educational interpretation through a focus on three principal themes: the history of the American fight for independence and the preservation of democracy through history; the role of the American citizen soldier in the battles fought; and, the role of technology and innovation in the defense of these servicemen and servicewomen.
The American Heritage Museum also sponsors living history events.
